CAMIE LIZ IS A "POP POWERHOUSE". SHE IS A SINGER, SONGWRITER, AND ACTRESS KNOWN FOR PERFORMING WITH GREAT STRENGTH IN HER STANCE WHILE CARRYING SOULFUL MELODIES.
Camie has performed professionally throughout South Florida since the age of nine and there isn’t a time in her life that she can recall not wanting to be an artist. Her dedication to her craft has made her a standout of the South Florida scene, being awarded with numerous accolades and once in a lifetime experiences over the years.
In 2015, Camie was hand selected by Phil Collins to be a recipient of his foundation, the Little Dreams Foundation. This has given her the opportunity to perform at the Fillmore Miami Beach multiple times over the years alongside artists including KT Tunstall, Jon Secada, Lou Gramm, and Phil himself.
Camie made her first trip Los Angeles in August of 2017 when she was invited VidCon, a digital video and online creator convention, to perform six sets within the course of three days. Only two months later she was a competitor in the nationwide PBS Celebration of Music Talent Search. She took home 1st place for the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami region at the Broward Center of Performing Arts and was then sent to Los Angeles to film a TV special for PBS.
Camie was also named a National YoungArts Foundation Winner in Voice, receiving creative and professional development opportunities and joining a 20,000-strong alumni community. Notable alumni include Josh Groban, Judith Hill, and Chris Young.
Camie's first music release came in 2019 when EDM producer and DJ Lucas Larvenz released his song “Lightning” in collaboration with Camie who wrote and sang the verses and hook.
In September of 2019, Camie submitted to be a contestant in the first season of the LiveMe Music House Competition in Partnership with iHeartRadio. After being chosen as one of the Top 50, Camie performed original song “Maybe” on a LiveMe livestream for the Celebrity Judge and singer Macy Kate and the iHeartRadio Judge Alex Gervasi. She was then sent to Los Angeles to compete among the Top 10 and perform her song “Maybe" in the live finale that took place iHeartRadio Theatre. With the judges up on their feet, Camie took home the Grand Prize of $5,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Jingle Ball Village in Los Angeles, CA where she opened for Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Katy Perry, and more. The same day, Camie released her winning single “Maybe” on all music streaming platforms.
In July of 2020, she released her original song "Jackpot", an energetic and playful song that captures the thrill and excitement of a Las Vegas casino. The song expresses the desire to take risks and go all in for love, comparing such passion to hitting the jackpot. This release was followed in early 2021 with an official remix by Lucas Larvenz.
Camie is currently signed by BMG Talent Agency for acting for film/TV. She spends her days training, developing her craft, and working on her debut project. With the musical influences of Amy Winehouse, Rihanna, and Ariana Grande, listeners can expected stacked and soulful vocals sure to put you in your feels or get you on the dance floor.
